L'Oreal Revitalift

I am an Influenster.

I am a member of the Influenster website and from time to time they send me products for free for testing purposes.

This time I received a sample of L'Oreal Revitalift Intensive Moisturizer to try for 14 days.

So, for the next 14 days, I will be trying this product and periodically documenting my results.

I am not a fan of selfies, or even getting my picture taken, but for this I will.

I am makeup free, and my face freshly washed.  Unfortunately this product is  not for my adult acne which is flaring up, but is an anti-aging product and they claim that:

     -  Immediately, skin is deeply hydrated and feels firmer
     -  In 1 week, skin texture appears smoother
     -  In 2 weeks, wrinkles are visibly reduced

So, here we go.  I will update in a week with my thoughts on the product!

The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman

The Light Between OceansThe Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is very well written, and the story is full of good people, bad decisions, courage, love, loss and healing.

I had a very hard time putting it down, but unfortunately, sometimes you just don't have the time to read, no matter how good a book is.

I highly recommend this book, but I will warn you...there is sensitive subject matter, in regards to miscarriages, and that could be hard for some readers.

I found myself putting it down and wondering what I would have done in Isabel's place? In Tom's or even in Hannah's?

Another year, another reading goal!

Winter Street (Winter, #1)Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have read one other book by Elin Hilderbrand recently and enjoyed it, so when I saw this one, thought I would give it a try. It did not disappoint. I was disappointed at the end, but only because I wanted the story to continue, so when I saw there are two other books in the series, I was excited and need to get my hands on those! Yay, I can get closure! LOL

Welcome 2017....

Goodbye to the old, and hello to the new.  I am always excited to find out what a new year has to offer me, my family, and the world.  Please be kinder to us all.

I didn't complete my reading challenge last year...My goal was 50 books, and I finished 17.  Still, nothing to be ashamed about.  I tend to have lofty goals when it comes to reading.  Maybe I will make it this year...who knows...I've finished my first one already though.  Haha.  I started this book on December 23rd and finished it this morning...so it counts!

This will be a short entry. I am contemplating moving to a new blogging site, but I really am not sure which one to try, so I may play around with a few until I decide.  I know I haven't been very consistent with maintaining a blog, so much a clean slate will help.  I'm not the best blogger...I need to improve my writing skills, and not be afraid to fit my thoughts and feelings out there, as well as my opinions.  It's hard to do for some people and I admit I am kind of envious of those people who seem to fill their blogs with such wonderful stuff.

Happy New Year to all who read this.
